Our History
From Legacy to Leadership
SAR OPS was born from decades of combined experience in emergency response, rope rescue, and wilderness search operations. Though newly re-launched under the name SAR OPS (Search & Rescue Operations), our origins trace back to a group of committed individuals who’ve spent years in the field helping local agencies and supporting communities in crisis.
What started as a regional response unit has grown into a specialized rescue organization — trusted, certified, and built to operate in a multitude of environments, from urban, to wilderness, to swift water. Our journey has included:
