About Us – SAR OPS
Our Mission
At SAR OPS, our mission is simple but powerful:
To provide expert, relentless search and rescue services with a focus on professionalism, safety, and compassion.
We believe that no one should ever feel lost, forgotten, or without hope. Every call we answer is a life that matters — and we respond with urgency, empathy, and elite training. Whether navigating treacherous terrain or coordinating multi-agency responses, we stay committed to saving lives through:
Rapid deployment
NFPA-compliant operations
Volunteer-powered rescue
Cutting-edge techniques
Our guiding principle? Be there when others can’t.
Our History
From Legacy to Leadership
SAR OPS was born from decades of combined experience in emergency response, rope rescue, and wilderness search operations. Though newly re-launched under the name SAR OPS (Search & Rescue Operations), our origins trace back to a group of committed individuals who’ve spent years in the field helping families find missing loved ones and supporting communities in crisis.
What started as a regional response unit has grown into a specialized rescue organization — trusted, certified, and built to operate in the harshest environments. Our journey has included:
Dozens of completed rescue missions
Hundreds of hours in training and field readiness
Strong relationships with local and state emergency agencies
Now, as SAR OPS, we bring even greater clarity, professionalism, and focus to our work.
Our Core Values
Everything we do is grounded in a set of values that reflect our character and shape our operations:

Integrity
We act with honesty, transparency, and accountability.

Service
We put people first — victims, families, communities.

Excellence
We never stop training, improving, and innovating.

TeamWork
Our strength lies in our unity and shared mission.

Resilience
We stay calm and determined under pressure.

Compassion
Every rescue begins with empathy.
Every Mission Is a Life We Could Save
Why We Do This
We know what’s at stake when someone goes missing. Whether it’s a child lost in the woods, a hiker stranded after a fall, or a family clinging to hope — we take each mission personally. It’s not about headlines or recognition. It’s about being there when it counts.
SAR OPS operates on the belief that:
